118 Carat Blue Sapphire up for Auction

It's been nearly 20 years since we have seen a sapphire of this color and size come to auction! On October 7, 2020, Sotheby's Hong Kong will hold an auction for a stunning, 118.88 carat blue sapphire stone. The SSEF & Gübelin labs have examined and graded the color of this unheated, Burmese Sapphire as "royal blue" - truly fit for a king or queen! The shape of the blue sapphire is cushion-cut, and is held within a platinum pendant setting surrounded by a halo of 16.06, total carat weight, pear-shaped diamonds.

Blue Sapphires are a beautiful choice for both fashion and couples wedding rings! A blue sapphire engagement ring with a diamond halo is a classic and elegant style that has & will continue to withstand the test of time!
