Best Ways to Propose at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago

Baseball season is your favorite time of year. And why wouldn't it be? There's nothing like the smell of a hot dog from a baseball stadium or thinking for even one second that you might catch a foul ball. You and your sweetheart aren't just baseball fans, you're also die-hard White Sox fans. So why not propose at their home field?

U.S. Cellular Field offers a ton of different fan experience options and one of them may just be your best opportunity to present your girlfriend with a diamond cluster ring. Here are some of the best ways to propose at U.S. Cellular Field:

Dinner and a Game

U.S. Cellular Field offers a variety of dinner and a game options. The "Dinner and a Game" promotion gives you 4 VIP tickets, and you and your sweetheart (and another couple...maybe the love of your life's parents to make it even more special?) can watch the game from one of the field's premier restaurants. If you want a more intimate setting, you can even choose to have dinner on the actual field (on a non-game day).

Get Involved with the Game

U.S. Cellular Field also offers several ways for you and your sweetheart to be involved with getting ready for a game. There's a "White Sox Dugout Experience" where you can sit in the dugout during a White Sox batting practice. You and your girlfriend can also "Drag the Infield" where you both will attend a pre-game training session with the grounds crew, and then help drag the infield in the bottom of the 3rd inning. You both can also "Deliver Lineup Card to the Umpires" prior to the game.

Scoreboard Message

The scoreboard message is always one of the best ways to propose at a ballpark. While you do have the option to submit a message on the day of the game, a little preplanning will help save a few bucks. Your message can be up to 75 characters and ranges in price from $75-$100 depending on the game and how far in advance you book. You can even order a digital print of your message being displayed to capture the moment!
