  • Trio Wedding Ring Sets - Style Review BT518W10K

Wedding planning can be a lot of work. There are so many decisions that need to be made that your head might feel like it's going to explode. That’s why we want to make one of your decisions easy: finding your perfect wedding rings. Not only can you purchase your rings in the comfort of your own home, but you can also purchase a trio matching wedding ring set so that you don’t have to worry about whether or not your rings will complement one another. We have a wide selection of trio wedding ring sets to choose from, but today, I want to highlight one of our customers’ favorites: style BT518W10K.

    Styling

When you look at this trio matching wedding ring set, your eyes will immediately go to the breathtaking square set diamond on the engagement ring. This engagement ring demands attention, and it will get it wherever it goes. This 1/2 CT. set is made with white gold, and you can choose whether to have it made with 10K gold or 14K gold.

    Diamonds

Have we mentioned how much we love the square, cluster head? Part of that has to do with the two diamonds on either side of the head that complement the center perfectly. On the two wedding bands, the same styling is used to give this set a unified look. This set features a whopping total of 27 round cut diamonds, and 13 of those are in the engagement ring alone! The ladies’ and the men’s wedding band each has 7 sparkling, natural diamonds.

    Customer Reviews

We could talk all day about this magnificent set, but we want you to know that our customers love it, too. Check out these reviews:

  • 4 Tips for Taking Care of Your Diamond Rings

You and your spouse will wear your engagement ring and wedding rings day in and day out. They are among your most prized possessions, and you’ll rarely, if ever, take them off. Even though your diamond engagement ring and wedding bands mean so much to you, have you taken the necessary steps to take care of them?

Think about the work your hands do on a daily basis. Think about all the situations your diamond rings are exposed to. It’s time to give your wedding rings the attention they deserve. Follow these ring care tips to ensure your rings’ safety and to have them looking brand new for years to come.

    1. Insure Them

Wedding rings have great sentimental (and monetary) value. Most people want to make sure these rings last a lifetime, and you might even want them to last several lifetimes so you can pass the rings down to future generations. One way you can safeguard your investment is to purchase ring insurance. However, you need to make sure you understand the policy and its fine print. For instance, some jewelry insurance policies won’t cover ring repairs.

    2. Clean Them

Get all that grime off those rings and make them shine! You can take your rings to be professionally cleaned by a jeweler, you can buy jewelry cleaner at the store, or you can simply soak your rings in warm water and mild dishwashing liquid. After the rings have soaked for a while, scrub off all the dirt with a soft toothbrush. If you have a diamond ring, you can also soak it in equal parts ammonia and cold water for half an hour. Be aware: this method can damage your rings' stones if they’re not diamonds.

    3. Keep Them Safe

This probably goes without saying, but you should be cautious about what you do with your rings. For instance, never remove your diamond rings in a public restroom where you could accidentally knock them down a drain or leave them sitting on the edge of a sink. You should also avoid doing rough work while wearing your rings. For example, if you know you’re going to be doing yard work or changing the oil in your car, take off your precious rings and store them in a safe place. Also, avoid exposing your rings to harsh chemicals like bleach, which can dull the finish.

    4. Inspect Them

Every year, you should take your diamond engagement ring and wedding bands to your local jeweler to have it inspected. The jeweler will be able to make sure there are no loose prongs and that your diamonds aren’t loose, which means you won’t have to frantically search for a dislodged diamond. Plus, your jeweler will usually clean your rings up for you!

Do you have an anniversary coming up? Consider getting a new set of matching wedding bands to commemorate the occasion!

  • 3 Creative Proposal Ideas for Easter

It’s one of the most wonderful times of the year: spring! April has brought the promise of warmer weather and blooming flowers, which makes you just want to spend of all your time outside.

Luckily for you, Easter is coming up soon, which will give you some much-needed time off and finally allow you to enjoy spring in all its glory. Easter also represents a time of life and rebirth, which makes it a symbolic time for a marriage proposal. Not to mention that it presents some fun opportunities for creative proposal ideas. If you’ve been itching to present your sweetheart with a princess cut engagement ring, plan to do just that over Easter with one of these ideas:

    1. Easter Morning

Did you or your partner grow up in a family where the Easter bunny would leave you goodies on Easter morning? This is just one option for an Easter proposal. Get her an Easter basket full of all of her favorite treats. Set it out the night before after she’s already asleep. You can either put the ring front and center so its the first thing she sees in the basket, or you can hide it in the basket and watch while she goes through the basket’s contents. Either way will get that big reaction you’re looking for.

    2. Peep Dioramas

Have you heard of Peep dioramas? It’s where people create scenes using everyone’s favorite Easter candy: marshmallow Peeps! If you’ve been looking for a way to flex your artistic muscles, this might be the perfect proposal idea for you: create a Peep proposal diorama. There are numerous ways you could go about this. You could make a diorama of the progression of your relationship. Or you could do a diorama of her favorite television show or maybe even a historial moment that means something to both of you. However you choose to do it, just make sure the princess cut engagement ring makes it in there somewhere!

    3. Easter Egg Treasure Hunt

In a past post, I mentioned that an Easter egg hunt would be a cute way to propose. This suggestion puts another creative twist in the mix. Instead of simply hiding the ring in one of the eggs, you can create a treasure hunt. In each egg, hide a clue that will lead her to the next egg. Choosing where to place the eggs will be the fun part-- pick spots that have meant something to you as a couple. You could even retrace all the steps of your relationship by putting an egg where you met, where you had your first date, where you had your first kiss, and so on.

Do you have any creative proposal ideas for Easter to share with us?

Don’t forget: when you buy any engagement ring from My Trio Rings, you get 10% off your future wedding bands!
