3 Fall Proposal Ideas to Fit Her Style
Just as there is a beautiful engagement ring set out there that will fit your bride-to-be's style perfectly, there is also a wedding proposal that will be tailored to her tastes. Get started on your plans with some of these ideas!

Sweet & Simple Autumn Proposal Ideas

Outdoorsy

If you and your lady can't get enough of the great outdoors, find a way to incorporate this love into your proposal. This is a beautifully simple plan that can be executed on any free Saturday. The only drawback is that you'll have to be flexible with timing, as it will be dependent on weather. Tell your girlfriend you've planned a secret adventure, and have her wear hiking attire but don't tell her where you're going. Pack a picnic with a simple lunch, a bottle of wine and something sweet (that won't melt) for dessert. Go on a relaxing (probably avoid hardcore climbs unless you're sure she's into that kind of challenge) autumn hike or nature walk - pick one of your shared favorite spots or a new location known for its great views or beautiful fall leaves. Hide the ring in a box in your backpack, and take it out at the right moment as you're both admiring the gorgeous scenery.

Foodie

If your sweetheart swoons at the mention of wine-paired dinners or can recall in great detail meals she had years ago, she might appreciate a delicious foodie-focused proposal. Plan an evening around her favorite foods or restaurants, mapping out a route where you go to different locations for pre-dinner drinks, appetizers, main dishes and dessert (this works even better if you can stroll from place to place, but a quick drive in between locations is also good). Select the perfect engagement ring set in advance, and have it ready for the dessert and champagne course!

Romantic

You don't need skywriting or flash mobs to create a memorable proposal. Plan a romantic night at home that is perfect for just the two of you. Cook a meal that is a step or two above what you would normally attempt, and don't let her help with anything. Pour her a glass of her favorite beverage, put on some music and let her relax. After dinner, light candles or get a fire going and snuggle up on the couch together. Tell her how much you love her and why you want her to be your wife - or write a heartfelt letter in advance and give it to her before you propose if you're afraid of getting tongue-tied!
